Ebony Pride Festival

Our main event each year is the Ebony Pride Festival. This annual event is a celebration of the African American GLBT community. Everyone is welcome at this event! It does not matter if you are black, white, brown, lesbian, gay, straight . . . this festival is a celebration for all!

The festival has something for everyone! We have vendors selling a wide variety of products, including a lot of ethnic merchandise. We have all kinds of food: from barbeque to soul food! We sell all kinds of beverages, including beer. And we even have a children's garden, with lots of toys for kids to play with.

We have all kinds of entertainment, too! We have live singers, shows and guest speakers. We have DJs spinning all kinds of music. And each year we have our famous Fashion Show, where local models show off fashions from local merchants here in San Diego.

All funds raised from the festival go towards our organization and the causes that we support.

The Festival is our chance to give visibility to the African American GLBT community. It's our opportunity to show one another that it is okay to be who we are, and that it is okay to come out of the closet. It's our opportunity to get together, have fun, meet new people . . . perhaps even that special someone! The Festival celebrates the diversity of our community, and is a chance for the entire community to come together as one!
