Come out and participate in the 2009 Ebony Pride Stage at the San Diego Pride festival--July 18 and 19--and other Ebony Pride sponsored events leading up to the Pride festival. We are interested in volunteer performers as well volunteers for various stage positions. For more information, please contact ebonyprideevents@cox.net. Please state which position you are inquiring and any experience you would like to share with Ebony Pride. Ebony Pride of San Diego is a non-profit African American based Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community organization. Its purpose is to promote positivity, cultural enrichment, self-empowerment and education throughout the LGBT community. We are a unifying organization that opposes discrimination of all people: not only as an African American in the LGBT community, but for the LGBT community at large.

Descriptions for stage help

Stage Decorators

Assist in planning, researching, preparation and implementing stage design, including set up and tear down. Maintain safe and clear pathways around stage parameter.

Stage Assistants

Stage Hands

Assist with preparation and removal of stage equipment for each act listed. Assist in maintaining safe and clear pathways around stage parameter. Stage hands may also be asked to assist decorating crew when needed.

Clean up Crew

Clean and organized stage area during and after stage hours..
